Summary
This project is part of a wider initiative, aiming to increase the efficiency, professionalism and independence of the justice sector. It will also work to secure the rule of law and thereby prepare BiH for access to the European Union. The ultimate objective is to help improve BiH capacity for execution of criminal sanction by constructing the new prison in Bijeljina.
Results
Implementation of this project will result in: - The newly constructed high-security prison complex in Bijeljina made by the highest standards in RS. The complex consists of a number of accommodation pavilions, with a capacity of over 280 people. Workshops and modern service facilities designed for inmates and an administration part for staff will be created.
