Summary
This project includes the supply (with auxiliary services, like trainings etc. where applicable) and integration of the Biometric Identification System for the BiH Ministry of Security, as integrated part of Information System of Migration – ISM, with the accompanying IT equipment necessary for support to current and planned management of migration, asylum and border in BiH.
Contract will enhance the technical capacity of the BiH Ministry of Security, Border Police, Service for Foreigners affairs and BiH Ministry of foreign affairs.
Results
Implementation of this project will result in:
- Implementation of biometrics modules in MIS - Migration Information System (since the biometrics module will be an integral part of the MIS system, certain upgrades to the MIS system will be needed to support biometrics operation),
- Upgrade the ISM system with the required functionalities,
- Integration of MIS system and applications with the AFIS system,
- Development of applications for collection and check of biometric data.
