Summary
The project seeks to bring together female and male youth participants to develop their leadership capacities with the aim to encourage their active contribution in strengthening good neighbourly relations. This joint initiative will be implemented with active involvement of young people gathered in youth groups from 12 communities within targeted regions. Project activities are designed to empower active contribution of youth in addressing their needs. These will be activities of common interest such as common capacity building, advocating common prioritized needs of youth regarding social and economic development, developing institutional networks with community stakeholders in social, political, economic, cultural and environmental fields, cross border working study visits and common cross border cultural events.
Results
The most prominent result of the project is that 320 youth leaders from 12 communities are involved in 4 youth focal groups well educated and skilled and with capacities to efficiently influence youth policies at local, national and regional level and for leading initiatives in communities and regions.
