Summary
The project aimed to support tourism development stakeholders in the region to enhance the development of joint cross-border eco and cultural tourism offer of Southern Dinarides. It focused on analysis and evaluation of South Dinarides tourism potential, including international best practices applicable in the region, improvement of collaboration between local tourism stakeholders and inclusion of South Dinarides in international tourism networks, provision of training to tourism service providers for high-quality tourism service, development of Eco and Cultural Tourism in South Dinarides Strategy, visibility of joint tourism activities by developing the Southern Dinarides tourism web-site and promotional materials, etc.
Results
Existing studies and analysis gathered, data collected and practical assessment provided about potential for the eco and cultural tourism in Southern Dinarides (Study for BIH, Study for MNE, Joint South Dinarides Study); Tourism stakeholders acquainted with international best practices; Two trainings on how to develop and provide high quality eco/cultural tourism offer; South Dinarides Eco and Cultural Tourism Strategy.
