Summary
The project deals with improvement of the competitiveness of the rural cross border area of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia through enhancement of agriculture with specific focus on strenghtening and enhancement of organic agricultural production and capacity building in this sector. Some of the project activities include development of Analysis of the potential of organic agriculture in the cross border region of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, identification of relevant stakeholders (geographical and sectorial), creation of a regional organic brand and its marketing strategy, organisation of cross border educational trainings on organic production, etc.
Results
Estimated results: Analyses and overview on potential of organic agriculture production in the rural cross-border area conducted; Database on current organic producers in the cross border region available to broader public; Regional organic brand and its marketing strategy created and promoted; The capacity of organic producers strenghtened and transformation of existing farms into organic farms supported; Market and export orientation of organic producers supported; Raised awarenes of the public for the benefits of the organic agriculture production.
