Summary
Overall project objective is to bring together the people and communities of the border area to jointly participate in the development of a cooperative area, using its human, natural and cultural resources and advantages.
Specific objectives are:
- Strengthening cross border people-to-people interaction to reinforce educational, cultural, and historical links and to share know-how and experiences in areas of common interest and inclusion of children with special needs.
- Promoting the healthy life style, the healthy environment and the principles of sustainable development cooperating in joint activities.
Results
Implementation of this project resulted in:
- Established long-term cross-border schools cooperation;
- Students become more aware of significance of quality knowledge and education in everyday life.
- Improved students’ skills regarding share of the acquired knowledge;
- Students become more aware of cultural and historical links between cross-border regions;
- Participation of the children with special needs in certain project activities;
- Students and local population become more aware of the importance of environment, its protection, sustainable development, healthy diet and sports.
