Summary
Objective of the project was to foster networking and strengthen NGOs in the sector LED (Local Economic Development) in BiH and ensure their long-term cooperation, exchange of knowledge and experience and better cooperation with governments at all levels. Establishment of an efficient and functional coalition of the NGOs to became an equal participant in the process of LED/RED in BiH trough development of capacities and inclusion and coalition of at least 10 NGOs which will establish a dialogue with relevant governmental representatives at all levels.
Results
The network is functional (has Assembly, Steering Board, Strategy for development, Action plan for implementation of the strategy, technical secretariat, Executive body and a number of joint platforms related to LED network. Members improved their capacity and the standards applied are in line with plans for CSO development until 2020. Contractor created 10 policies which will serve as guidelines for further development of many LED instruments (business incubators, credit guarantee funds etc). LED net will continue working with authorities in accepting these policies as a necessary tool for further LED development.
