Summary
This project aimed to modernise and help improve existing equipment capacities in 4 Parliaments:
- Parliament of BIH, Sarajevo
- Parliament of Federation of BIH, Sarajevo
- National Assembly of RS, Banja Luka
- Assembly of Brčko Distrikt, Brčko
Results
Implementation of this project will result in:
- 386 Notebook PC's delivered to 4 implementing Parliaments,
- 160 Mini Desktop PC’s with external displays delivered to 4 implementing Parliaments,
- Various IT equipment (virtualization servers, storage subsystems, software’s, racks and various licenses that help build up or improve existing infrastructure) delivered to 4 Parliaments.
- Trainings held for system administrators, in order to cover usage of all equipment (from LOT 1).
- Existing IT equipment capacities upgraded,
- Parliaments IT capacities modernized through replacing of old equipment,
- Greater degree of control trough existing system by using modern equipment established,
- Relevant parliament staff trained to use delivered equipment and software,
- Equipment purchased under LOT 2 (386 Notebook PC’s) enabled sessions to be held in “state of emergency” mode, caused by COVID-19. Parliaments managed to hold all sessions online, fulfilling all aspects of sessions from discussion to voting
