Summary
This project comprises of three sub-projects: Water 1, 2 and 3. The European Bank for Reconstruction (EBRD) has provided a loan in the amount of 10 million EUR for the implementation of sub-projects (Water 1 and Water 2). A grant of up to 4 million EUR will be provided by the EU, for the supervision of works and the construction of the Water 3 sub-project. That will complete the series of investments envisaged by the City of Banja Luka and will provide a supply of potable water from the public water supply system for around 95% of the City's population.
Results
Implementation of this project will result in: - Upgrade water supply system in 8 components, including a water supply network of 65.3 km, with facilities (pumping stations, water tank, etc.). - The approximate number of new direct beneficiaries will be 2,000.
