Implementation of this project will result in:
• Ensuring technically and legally, correct execution of works within the budget available and in accordance with the Technical Specifications and Bill of Quantities.
• Ensuring timely and safe completion of works in accordance with the EU procedures.
• Preparation of the Inception Report subject to Contracting Authority’s endorsement;
• Supervision over the works, including installation of necessary equipment, specified under the works contract;
• Check and approve works contractor's workshop designs;
• Check and approve works contractor's inputs concerning relevant permits, inspections and other relevant obligations of the works contractor in regard to local legislation;
• Check and approve works contractor's detailed drawings for construction works;
• Check and approve equipment to be installed under the works contract, in line with provisions of the contract, including technical specifications and origin requirements;
• Check and approve works contractor's payment requests and supporting documentation such as measurement sheets, sub-contracting as per Contract provisions;
• Elaborate Bi-monthly Progress Reports to be endorsed by the Programme Manager;
• Issuance of the maintenance plans (containing cost estimates) for the refurbished premises;
• Issuance of the Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC) upon completion of works and installation and testing of equipment specified under the contract, endorsed by the Contracting Authority;
• Issuance of the Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) upon expiry of the Defect Liability Period (DLP) endorsed by the Contracting Authority;
• Review and verify Final Statement of Accounts (FSA) showing in details the value of the works and full and final amount to which the works contractor is entitled;
• Elaborate Final Report to be endorsed by the Programme Manager.
